Lord Koremochi has awoken from his slumber, where he was warned in a dream by Hachiman that the beautiful princess who has beguiled him is actually the demon of Mount Togakushi in disguise. Here he sees her reflection in a sake cup and puts his hand on his sword hilt.

This print seems to be another warning signal to men as to the hidden dangers of beautiful and accomplished young women.
