Sagiike Heikuro looks up past some hydrangea bushes as the reflection of a huge snake head appears beneath him in the water beneath an overhanging rock. Heikurô does not seem unduly alarmed, and then as the explanatory cartouche above explains, proceeds to strike the snake with his fists and then split the snake in two with his bare hands. His fishing gear is arrayed on the rock.
Condition: Excellent impression, color and condition. Repaired wormage in right margin.
