The barge of the 12th Shogun, Ieyoshi, in full splendor on the Sumida River. The twelfth of the line - Lord Ieyoshi (Shintoku-in). The barge is brilliant red and aflame with banners. Row upon row of samurai sit with serious faces in identical postures. Several smaller boats with oarsmen seem to be guiding the craft. A definite show of power! The sky above features western-style scattered clouds
