The sumo wrestler Onogawa is unperturbed by the sight of the Badger-Ghost, a type of ônyûdô, who has snuck out from behind a partition in the dark. The wrestler blows smoke at him from his pipe, his posture and attitude one of total relaxation. The ghost recoils from the smoke, powerless due to the fearlessness of the wrestler.
