Hakamadare Yasusuke and Kidômaru match sorcery skills in this dramatic composition. (Hakamadare yasusuke kidômaru jutsukurabe no zu). Hakamadare seems to have power over snakes while Kidômaru has power over wind and winged creatures. They are both performing esoteric mudras with their hands, and Kidômare grasps a magical sprig in his teeth for extra power. This is the lighter-colored version of this work, which is probably earlier than the darker version.

Condition: Excellent impression. Very good color and condition. Some spots on white margin and a smudge on the bird wing.
