Yoshitoshi: Earth Spider Untrimmed Diptych (Sold)

Two uncut chuban designs that surprisingly form a diptych. Right is Kurokumo Oji resisting the spell of the giant purple Earth Spider,  who draws up his magical web behind him. Left is Taira no Yoshikado grasping the swords of two baby Earth Spiders. Their voluminous trousers that hold eight legs seem to make a nest, and they are dressed in fine silk garments and seem taken aback by the strength of Yoshikado. He does not want to hurt them, only to disarm them. Extremely scarce in this untrimmed state.
