The stern of a traditional boat that was used to ferry supplies may be seen lower right. We see pedestrians cross a wooden bridge in springtime, a swift current rushing past the pilings. What must be restaurants overlook this beautiful scene, with cherry blossoms framing the vantage point from the opposite bank of the river. Today one may still see a similar scene on the Takase River in Kyoto.
