Three women enjoy tea beneath a pavilion in a garden surrounded by blooming azaleas, with flower colors ranging from white to red. This was the garden belonging to Yoshida himself at his home in Shimo-ochiai. Behind the pavilion are large trees in various shades of green. To fully express the intention of the artist, Yoshida’s prints must be experienced in completely unfaded condition, as here. Sealed “Jizuri”, or “self-printed”, left margin.
