El Capitan, one of the world’s tallest monoliths, rising vertically above the Yosemite Valley. This is one of Yoshida’s most sought-after North American scenes, and his only view of California. Hiroshi wrote that when he visited Yosemite he craned his neck at the sight for so long that his neck hurt. With the early, brown “jizuri” seal.
