Soft pink cherry blossoms tower over the river at Arashiyama in western Kyoto. It must be a rather misty morning, as the colors of the far bank are muted even in pristine examples like this one. Rowboats may still be rented by sightseers today. Extremely fresh and clean, and cannot be compared with examples that have been passed around for decades and/or framed. Provenance: Yoshida Family.

Condition: Excellent impression, color and condition. Mint.
