The Shalimar Gardens, a 17th century Mughal complex located in what is now Pakistan. Originally laid out as a Persian paradise garden, it is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Provenance: Purchased directly from the Yoshida Family, this work has never been circulated. Extremely fresh and clean, and cannot be compared with examples that have been passed around for decades and/or framed.
