Unusual and fantastic train conductor’s view of Mount Fuji,  which is framed dramatically by the curved stone rail tunnel entrance from our view beneath the cliffs of Satta Mountain Pass. The pass is located between the stations of Yui and Okitsu on the Tokaido Road, and Hiroshige captured a similar view from higher up on the cliffs for his depiction of Station Yui in his “Hoeido Tokaido” series. A perfect print for the rail enthusiast!
