Murayama Kanko: Alpine Park in Snow

Murayama Kanko was a sosaku hanga artist who was a member of Nihon Sosaku-Hanga Kyokai from 1927 and Nihon Hanga Kyokai from 1932. He sadly died young, in 1935 (Merritt/Yamada, 1992). Very few of his artworks seem to be available. The name of this snowy temple precinct in the mountains has not been translated.

Condition: Excellent impression and color. Very good condition. With the original folder, although the work is now unmounted.
