Russian Soldier Shows White Flag Plainly to Japanese Army: “Oh!, Say, Can You See?” A Russian officer and three soldiers surrender upon hearing the trumpet of the Japanese army. After they discover that their white flag is missing, the three paint their faces white, even that of the horse, to indicate their surrender.

Condition: Excellent impression, color and condition. Minor stain left margin.
