From the first group of fifty works from this series. We see a single Japanese soldier defeating three topknotted Chinese rivals at kubippiki, the neck-wrestling contest. The translation of the the inscription is about as classy as one would expect, and does not merit repeating. It includes “You cowards are worthless like crawlers...” This series presented rather cruel caricatures of the Chinese enemy during the Sino-Japanese War.
