Captain Awata, in the Battle for the Pescadores, Cleaves an Enemy General in Half. Grabbing his enemy’s poorly wrought weapon, General Awata takes his much superior sword and proves its worth by slicing the enemy from top to bottom. For some reason the old-fashioned straw sandals of the Japanese officer seem out of place despite the obviously tropical climate.
