Hotoke-gozen. In the 12th century the young dancer Hotoke-gozen became a nun at age 17. Here she visits Gio, Yinyou and their mother at a small temple in autumn at dusk. She still wears the garb of the uninitiated and is clearly very beautiful and appealing.
