Kiyochika: Cat and Mouse (Sold)

A demon-eyed cat toys with a mouse. The domestic pet with a sweet ribbon and bell around its neck is belied by the glowing yellow eyes and bared fangs. This is an extremely rare design--it was reprinted with new blocks and a black background in the 20th century by Watanabe. I could find no examples in any museum collections.
