We see a beauty overlooking the hubbub at Sensô-ji Temple in Akasaka from the main Temple Hall. She holds aloft a red balloon, which her son seems to be grabbing for enthusiastically. The unique perspectives chosen by Kiyochika in this series presage elements of 20th century design.
