The text says roughly: A man secretly drinks sake but his wife discovers it because he makes unpleasant noises. She accuses him of drinking too much but he complains that she did not give him so much sake to make the unpleasant noise. It was caused by something else, says he. A drunken man sits in front of his tray of dishes. His wife seems angry. At the back the fire is giving a lot of smoke. On a red fan it is written Kinshô-do. Text by Koishikawa Kibô
