The sumo wrester Narukami Katsunosuke protects his employer, Lord Ashikaga Yorikane, from an attack by Ukiyo Tohei. Set on Nihonbashi Bridge, the first stop on the Kisokaidô (as well as the Tôkaidô), we see a combination of sumo portrait, warrior portrait and actor portrait. Mt. Fuji is seen in the distance, and the gold coins surrounding the title cartouche reference the story.
