Shirai Gompachi singlehandedly fights of a gang of eight ruffians, the sea placid and quiet behind the fracas. He has launched one into a smoky fire, bloodied another and thrown off two more. Curiously, Banzui Chobei stands to the side, holding a lantern and not engaging.
