Title: Fan Print of a Beauty
Series: A Collection of Pictures in Modern Style (Imayo gakumen awase)

A warmly dressed beauty wearing a kimono with the family crest of 3 oak leaves holds a folded cloth (men’s obi?) as she admires a heroic portrait. Perhaps the warrior in the portrait is her lover, and she is rushing to help him or his cause in some way. Clues to his identity must lie in the crest in the curtains shown behind him. The family crests are similar to the one for the publisher Iba Senzaburô. Extremely rare.
