A crouching beauty exhales a cloud of smoke as she passes a long tobacco pipe to her friend, who leans out the window. It is unusual to see smoke depicted in this way in a Japanese print. To the left is a third beauty, dressed warmly against the winter cold, who walks toward a charcoal brazier.

Condition: Excellent impression, color and condition. Slight trimming at top.
