Otome. The Indian Prince Hansoku is bedeviled by the nine-tailed fox, which is apparently the true form of Lady Kayo. Includes a fascinating melange of Western influences, including chiaroscuro, the treatment of the garments and the western setting of a tile floor and the white buildings outside. The fox wears what looks like a European woman’s dress, as the Indian Prince lets his astonishment be known.
