Giyûkô shinei yû soroi”The beauty O-Seki watches on the left as thre sumo wrestlers Nuregami Chôgorô and Hanaregoma Chôkichi display their formidable strength by picking up enormous pieces of architecture (the wrestler on the right seems to hold an entire torii gate). The gathered crowd in the background is astonished. (This design is also in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum). Provenance: From the personal collection of B. W. Robinson.
