Actors from left: Iwai Kumesaburo III in the role of Yofu Koshiji; Ichikawa Danjuro VIII in the role of Jiraiya; Arashi Rikan III in the role of Takasago Yumonosuke. Yofu Koshiji seems to be pulling Jiraiya along with a traveling hat. They all magically float atop the water, feet not getting wet. The toad  being ridden by Yominosuke seems to be comprised of rock with moss growing on it. From the play Jiraiya Goketsu Monogatari.
