This memorial portrait of Yoshitoshi was added when he published the series “One Hundred Aspects of the Moon.” Toshikage often accompanied Yoshitoshi and kept close contact with him. The farewell poem by Yoshitoshi reads: Yo o tsumete terimasarishi wa natsu no tsuki (Making the night seem brief, it outshone them all: the summer moon).
