We do get a titillating glimpse of the lady’s private parts, a deliberate peek by the artist. A couple enjoys smoking on the veranda of a house by a bay. The smoke coming out of her mouth forms a loop of kana script, signifying a word relating the scene. Their intimate conversation is written. Branches of plum indicate early spring.
