Striking closeup of a poppy plant, boldly posed against a magenta background. This Watanabe seal was used between 1932 and 1941; there is a Made in Japan stamp verso, which was used in the 1920s and early 1930s, so this work must have been printed in the early 1930s. A scarce design.

Condition:Very good impression, color and condition.
There is a strip of slightly deeper color in the magenta along the right and bottom edges.
