Koson 小原古邨 : Two Mallard Ducks (Sold)

A male mallard duck (Anas platyrhynchos) takes flight, the water surface making concentric circles from his liftoff. His mate, still swimming, watches his takeoff. We see a few reeds at right to indicate their environs. With the “Made In Japan” seal, verso, which was used in the 1920s and 1930s.

Condition: Excellent impression, color and condition.
