Mount Fuji’s eastern skirt is warmed by glowing pink from rising the sun, the clear peak flanked with clouds against a brilliant blue sky. In the foreground are two pine trees on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchi. The seal at left reads Doi Hangaten, which indicates that this work was printed shortly after WWII, probably around 1950.
