Long-nosed goblins dance with abandon, accompanied by a shamisen player who is obviously belting it out lower right and a drummer at bottom. The details and humor that shine forth in this print using only shadows is a testament to Kyosai’s genius. This series features a Magic Lantern that would rotate above a candle flame and project images of these yokai spinning around the room. Very scarce.

Condition: Excellent impression, very good color and condition. Left margin is small.
