Almost miniature work of a magenta tree against a silver and gold gradient background that represents a dawn sky. Hoshi employed a unique technique to render such astonishing effects using woodblocks, gold leaf, oil paints and a blowtorch. His trees usually stand alone and are at once detailed and emblematic.

Condition: Very good impression, color and condition.
