Cropped panorama of an expanse of trees, silhouetted against the silver-white snow. From a limited edition, numbered 14 of 99. Hoshi created a unique method of printing, one that involved layers of gold and silver leaf in addition to woodblocks that he finished with a blowtorch. He sought successfully to capture the living essence of a tree.
