A Buddhist pilgrim (far right) pauses to watch geese rise over a rice field. Next to him are villagers making good use of a stream. The autumn wind mentioned in the poem can clearly be felt. From the series known as “One Hundred Poems as told by the Wet Nurse”. The author of the poem is Dainagon Tanemasu.
