The Tama Aqueduct, called here the Tama River, flows in a pleasing curve beneath blooming cherry trees in this festive springtime view. Crowds are out for the blooms, and on the opposite banks we see diners in restaurants also admiring the view. Cherry trees were planted here as early as the 1730s, so the ones seen here may be more than one hundred years old.
