Nihon fûkei senshû, Chikuzen Hakozaki. A tall stone lantern shades a woman and young girl as they stroll along the coast. This lies within the precints of Hachiman shrine near Hakata Bay in present-day Fukuoka Prefecture. Pre-earthquake design with a limited edition seal, 57/300, verso.
Provenance: Formerly in the collection of the late Hasui scholar Hisao Shimizu. This is the exact print shown in the catalog "The Works of Kawase Hasui", published by Tokyo Bijutsu in 2013 and written by Hisao Shimizu, number 32, page 38.
