Rare pre-earthquake print of a woman and her baby passing the entrance gate of Kampei Taisha Hie Shrine. Hasui himself wrote “The gently falling summer rain is like whispers, in harmony with the humming of an amah to the baby she carries. This enhances the mood of early summer all the more.”
