It is evening and a woman walks towards the entrance gate to Sengaku Temple, a small child on her back. We see a few yellow window lights, and the pines that frame the entrance. With the Watanabe seal used between 1931 and 1941. Narazaki wrote: “A solitary twinkling star in the sky at night descends on the Sengaku Temple. The single figure of a woman looking after a child and the scattered lights emphasize the loneliness of the temple precinct.”
