Original woodblock-printed cover for “The Japan Trade Monthly Magazine”. At around 1950 or so Watanabe Shozaburo was asked to print about 60 designs (5 years) for the cover of this magazine. They used a number of different artists, not just Hasui. This is probably a test print, as the final image did not feature a nighttime sky, but instead was a daytime sky.

Condition: Excellent impression, color and condition. Mint.
