One beauty is dreaming, fan in her right hand. We see her thoughts of traveling by palanquin, probably to rendezvous with her lover. Her summer fan is enchantingly translucent. Her companion is delicately eating a peeled fruit.

Condition: Very good impression, color and condition. On deluxe heavy paper. Small areas of expertly repaired wormage. Oxidation of lead pigment, as usual. Untrimmed.
