Fururu yuki (Edogawa). Two beauties cross a wooden bridge spanning the Edo River. This is the much rarer blue version of this design, done in the spirit of Hiroshige’s “aizuri-e”, or pictures printed entirely in blue. This seal is the same seal shown in the Hotei catalogue raisonne. Doi Sadaichi used numerous seals during the course of publishing Hasui prints, and some of them can be difficult to date with accuracy.
