A Chinese man is trying to seduce a Japanese female servant of the house by offering her tobacco (opium?). The writing reads:”ahen tabaco de kudokareru ie no gejo.” There is a detailed drawing of a snowy heron, accompanied by a poem about elegance and snow. For the background the artist instructs the color of black, “makkuro.” The number eighteen is written.
