Title: Snow at Kiba 木場の雪( Kiba no yuki).

Evening snow falls gently on the banks of the Kiba River, no people in sight. Famous for its lumberyards, we see several log rafts along both banks of the river. The snowflakes are embossed into the paper. The falling snowflakes, each one unique, are layered atop the shimmering river, although each one was created using negative space. An exceptional snow scene in the first edition. With the Watanabe seal that was in use between 1930 and 1942, but generally indicates a printing date of the early 1930s.
