“Chô Jun, the white stripe in the waves, wrestling in the river with Ri Ki, the Black Whirlwind”. The source of the story is the Chinese “Suikoden”. Chô Jun is shown on top, with Ri Ki seeming to be in trouble. There is a happy ending, as their friends broke up the fight and Chô Jun was invited to join the band of river pirates.

This diptych comes in at least three different states; the water stripes differ in each print also.

Condition: Excellent impression, color and condition. Some minor spots on upper margin of bottom print.
