Kodembo no Shoshichi, an Osaka thief, is tormented by six ghosts. He must have killed them all and now they each torment him in different ways. Although the femaile ghost grabbing him by his collar has sufficient solidity to force him backwards, she is so transparent we can see his legs through her grey form. Number 614a from a newspaper supplement similar to the modern “News of the World”. Probably the best design in the series, with mica added to the black background.
