On the right, the actor is Nakamura Shikan IV in the role of Saeda Daigaku (full name - Saeda Daigakunosuke), and on the left is Kawarasaki Gonjuro I in the role of Takahashi Gappo. This scene is from the play 'Shobu awase adauchi kodan' performed at the Ichimura-za Theatre in the 5th month of 1862. Rare.
