The young Miyamoto Musashi fights with the old master Tsukamoto Bokuden, who lived isolated in a mountain hut. Bokuden catches Musashi’s wooden sword with a wooden lid of an iron pot. Tsukamoto’s famous swords are hung on the humble hook on the wall, which are made out of tree branches.

Condition: Excellent color. Very good impression and condition. Two sheets are attached, yet prints are unbacked. Red transfer in window and slight discoloration in snow at left.
