We see a fireman holding his company’s standard (matoi), which bears the character of Se. His back is to us, and we can see his tattoo of a fight in front of a waterfall between an older warrior and a younger warrior. He has pulled down his heavy fireman’s coat to showcase the tattoo. His brigade is mentioned in the title cartouche, and listed on the print are presumably statistics pertinent to the brigade.

Condition: Very good impression, color and condition. Some soiling and smudges.
